Fortified Puglia is architectural historiography, the "masseria" represents a unique rural building in the world, an emblem of peasant civilization. The history of this property is very fascinating, and we are fortunate to still be able to admire architectural details and precious details as if crystallized identical to the time of construction. Kept silently and laboriously alive, this property full of history took on new life when it was purchased by the current owners at the end of the last century, the building is ready to be reborn. The property is spread over approximately 30,000 sqm, inside it includes the "old masseria" and a new residence that communicates well with the first for a total of approximately 1000 sqm. A large stone infinity pool with salt water is located between the two structures. The property can be used both as a hotel tourist destination and as an exclusive residence in Puglia.
The old masseria, subjected to a precious conservative recovery completed in 2018, has linear and massive shapes, with an imposing architecture, and a compact shape enclosed between sky and ground capable of withstanding the winds and the passage of time. The first settlement dates back to 1600, making the farm far from the symmetries and preciousness of the villa-farms of a later period.
The masseria currently presents itself as a residence of refined elegance immersed in silent nature just a few minutes from the sea and the main places of interest of the Murgia dei Trulli, the Itria valley and the upper Salento. The farmhouse is spread over two surfaces and consists of a large living room with fireplace, a study, a living room with fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen, four suites, one of which with a mini pool, and 4 bathrooms. All the rooms overlook a typical courtyard which boasts large spaces and an original flooring of the time.
The modern villa is approximately 300 sqm, spread over two levels in a structure with large windows. On the first floor a large room/office with kitchen and bathroom, on the second floor we find an open space with the very bright kitchen, dining room and wide view of the garden, two bedrooms with wardrobe and bathroom. Connected by enormous terraces in front and behind the structure and overlooking the garden, nearby we still find a laundry/bathroom room.
The two structures and the swimming pool are immersed in a large garden contained by large and varied terraces made of dry stone walls typical of the area. The property is characterized by old oaks, holm oaks and downy oaks as well as numerous olive trees which, scattered throughout the area between the terraces, create unique views.

La storia di questa proprietà è molto affascinante, e siamo fortunati di potere ammirare ancora oggi particolari architettonici e preziosi dettagli come cristallizzati identici all'epoca dell’edificazione. Tenuta in vita silenziosamente e faticosamente questa proprietà carica di storia, prende nuova vita quando sul finire del secolo scorso fu acquistata dagli attuali proprietari, il fabbricato è pronto a rinascere. La proprietà si sviluppa su circa 30.000mq, al suo interno comprende la “vecchia masseria” ed una nuova dimora che ben dialoga con la prima per un totale di circa 1000 mq una grande piscina a sfioro in pietra con acqua salata si colloca tra le due strutture. La proprietà può essere fruibile sia per una destinazione turistica alberghiera sia come esclusiva residenza in puglia.
La vecchia masseria, sottoposta ad un prezioso recupero conservativo concluso nel 2018, ha forme lineari e massicce, con una architettura imponente, ed una sagoma compatta racchiusa tra cielo e terreno atta a sopportare i venti e il passaggio del tempo. Il primo nucleo insediativo risale al 1600 rendendo la masseria ben lontana dalle simmetrie e dai preziosismi delle ville-masserie di epoca successiva.
La masseria attualmente si presenta come una dimora di raffinata eleganza immersa nella natura silenziosa a pochi minuti dal mare a dai principali luoghi di interesse della murgia dei trulli, della valle d’Itria e dell’alto Salento. La masseria si sviluppa su due superfici ed è costituita da un ampio salone con camino, uno studio, un salotto con camino, una sala da pranzo, una cucina abitabile, quattro suite di cui una con mini piscina, e 4 bagni. Tutti gli ambienti si affacciano su una tipica corte che vanta ampi spazi ed una originale pavimentazione dell’epoca.
La villa moderna è di circa 300 mq, si sviluppa su due livelli in una struttura con ampie vetrate. Al primo piano una ampia sala/ufficio con cucina e bagno, al secondo troviamo un open space con la Cucina, luminosissima, sala da pranzo e ampia vista sul giardino, due camere da letto con il guardaroba e il bagno. Collegata da enormi terrazzi antistanti e retrostanti la struttura e prospicenti sul giardino, nelle vicinanze troviamo ancora un vano lavanderia/bagno.
Le due strutture e la piscina, sono immerse in un grande giardino contenuto da ampi e vari terrazzamenti fatti da muretti a secco tipici del territorio. Caratterizzano la proprietà vecchie querce lecci e roverelle nonché numerosissime piante di ulivo che disseminate nel territorio tra le terrazze rendono visioni uniche.
