HABITAT 67 was cited a Heritage building by the City of Montreal in 2007, and declared a Heritage building by the Government of Quebec in 2009 with respect to the exterior of the Complex as well as the interior of units 1011 & 1012 where the internationally renowned Architect, Moshe Safdie, lived.

The area of the cubes was confirmed by the management.
