Built at the top of a hill among olive trees and vineyards, this villa overlooks the Valdinievole valley, defining the village of Montevettolini, and retaining its original architectural beauty and serenity.The Villa has been carefully restored and improved by the present owner, the prince Borghese, whose family bought the property more than 200 years ago. All the rooms are decorated with original furniture and paintings, Venetian glass chandeliers and Persian carpets.
The Villa features 6 bedrooms all en suite, with living areas and common spaces of a stunning beauty. Ground floor is composed by the premises (kitchen and service staff areas) and a large indoor dining room, with 20 seated places in an imperial table, with a huge fireplace. On the first floor there are two wings, divided by a Royal living room: the left wing has two master bedrooms en suite and the original Chapel of the Medici family. The Royal living room has more than 10 sofas, a royal fireplace and many marble decorations from past centuries. The right wing has a TV room and an ancient red library, with original books from the past three centuries, and two twin or double bedrooms en suite. Both wings can be reached from downstairs separately.
In the garden in front of the Villa there is an 'alfresco' panoramic area, covered with green leaves, with stone and marble tables and chairs, overlooking the swimming pool and the stunning panoramic view in front of the property, all surrounded by century-old lemon trees and flower bushes from all over the world.
A monumental staircase leads to the very big Swimming pool, 18m x7m width, with stairs entrance and an elevated sun-bathing area.

Au premier étage, il y a deux ailes, divisées par un salon royal: l'aile gauche a deux chambres de maître en suite et la chapelle d'origine de la famille Médicis. Le salon royal a plus de 10 canapés, une cheminée royale et de nombreuses décorations en marbre des siècles passés. L'aile droite a une salle de télévision et une ancienne bibliothèque rouge, avec des livres originaux des trois derniers siècles, et deux chambres lits jumeaux ou doubles en suite. Les deux ailes sont accessibles depuis le rez-de-chaussée séparément.
Dans le jardin en face de la Villa, il y a une zone panoramique «en plein air», couverte de feuilles vertes, avec des tables et des chaises en pierre et en marbre, donnant sur la piscine et la vue panoramique imprenable en face de la propriété, le tout entouré de vieux citronniers et buissons de fleurs du monde entier.

Tutte le camere sono arredate con mobili e dipinti originali, lampadari in vetro veneziano e tappeti persiani, i bagni sono stati recentemente rinnovati. La Villa dispone di 6 camere tutte con bagno privato, con zone giorno e spazi comuni di una bellezza mozzafiato. Il piano terra è composto da cucina, ambienti per il personale di servizio e da un'ampia sala interna, con 20 posti a sedere in un tavolo imperiale, con un grande camino.
Al primo piano ci sono due sezioni, divise da un soggiorno reale: l'ala sinistra ha due camere da letto matrimoniali con bagno privato e l'originale Cappella della famiglia Medici. Il soggiorno reale ha più di 10 divani, un caminetto e molte decorazioni in marmo dei secoli passati. L'ala destra ha una sala TV e un'antica biblioteca, con libri originali degli ultimi tre secoli, due camere doppie o matrimoniali con bagno privato. Entrambe le sezioni della villa possono essere raggiunte separatamente dal piano di sotto.
Nel giardino antistante la Villa si trova una zona panoramica, ombreggiata da piante, con tavoli e sedie in pietra e marmo, con vista sulla piscina e sullo splendido panorama antistante la proprietà, il tutto contornato da antiche piante di limone e cespugli di fiori provenienti da tutto il mondo.
