New Zealand

Mountain View.

Fishing Lodge - one of New Zealand’s most spectacular Fly Fishing Lodges.

It is no longer a secret that New Zealand’s South Island provides the best backdrop in the world for landing trophy trout on the fly, both rainbow and brown trout. The Lodge is considered one of the South Island’s premier fly fishing lodges, tailored to make you feel at home while putting you in front of wild trout on New Zealand’s most picturesque and exotic waters.

The unique location is ideal for fly fishing some of the best water in the South Island. You will fish in environments ranging from mountain streams to west coast native bush lined rivers and beyond. The unique concession (permit) is one of New Zealand’s oldest, and gives exclusive permission to fly into Mount Aspiring National Park.

The property consists of 5-acres approximately, along the banks of the Makarora River and is bounded by the majestic Mount Aspiring National Park. Visitors are frequently impressed by the picturesque vistas afforded within Mount Aspiring National Park. The fly fishing lodge is within short drive of scenic fishing destinations like Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea and the Young River. This is prime fly fishing territory. Queenstown alpine resort is also only a short distance away. The Lodge is comprised of four double bedrooms, a lounge, and a dining area. Each room has a beautiful, ever changing rugged South Island view, further complemented with a separate three bedroom cottage plus school house and helicopter hangar.

Seldom do properties of this nature come to the open market. With an established clientele base, inspection is a must if you are serious about owning a business within New Zealand’s recreational tourism industry. This would be an ideal private playground with unlimited hunting, fishing, jet boating and flying at your doorstep.
