Partners Sophia Klopas and Jason Stratton are a brother and sister team who have been in the Illinois real estate market for over twenty years. Sophia has a degree in Interior Design which assists her buyers in stepping back and noticing the appeal of different properties. Certain things that buyers may overlook, Sophia notices. For the piece of property that has everything a buyer wants, but is missing “that-little-something”, Sophia Klopas can fix it. Her approach gives buyers a unique vision of their property and a great understanding of what will help in a re-sale later on. On the selling side, Sophia’s background is extremely strong. Having varied experience in design and sales, she is able to look at a listing and tell the owner(s) what is needed for a quick and profitable sale. Sophia resides in Bucktown.
Jason comes from a finance background and has been heavily involved with the real estate market since 1998. Since stepping into the Board of Trade 16 years ago, Jason always kept an eye on the housing market. Jason began to acquire real estate his first year in the financial market and used this economic approach to increase holdings and decrease holdings as he continuously weighed out the risks and rewards of all his properties. As his love for real estate grew, he knew this was something he wanted to dedicate all his efforts towards. Jason prides himself on examining a client from heart to mind, understanding the passion one has for a piece of property and assessing a property’s fair value. Jason understands that not only will his clients consider this place their home, but for most people, their largest single investment. Jason lives in Bucktown with his family.

Jason is a true expert in the industry. From our very first call to the closing, Jason was responsive and helpful throughout. He didn’t give me the runaround or try and sway me into a condo that wasn’t for me. He listened carefully to what I was looking for and delivered in every aspect.
Our realtor Mina was very helpful all the way through and made our first home buying experience enjoyable versus stressful. She listened to what was important to us and made sure to keep our must-haves in mind before showing us any homes. She always had our best interests in mind and never once tried to rush us into anything. She was always very responsive and was more than willing to answer any questions that we had or go out of her way to make things easier for us throughout the process, from start to finish. We contacted Chris from a reference in 2015 to start looking at condos in Chicago. After seeing a few, we changed our minds and decided to wait. A year later, we revisited the idea and Chris was the only call we made. He remembered me the second I called him and he got right to work for us. He started sending me listings daily and I knew I could call him any time to ask questions or change our preferences. He ALWAYS answered his phone unless it was impossible, but even then, he would call back as soon as he could, which was usually very quickly! He is very knowledgeable–there was never a question he couldn’t answer or find the answer to in a very short period of time. He was always accommodating with our schedules and was always on time when we had to meet somewhere. He helped us negotiate an amazing deal on our condo with great advice on how to approach it and what we should expect–and he was right on every front. He could not have made this process any easier, especially for a novice like me who probably asked more questions than anyone. The truth of the matter is, although we knew he was quite busy, his perfect balance of professionalism, integrity, knowledge, and friendliness made us feel like we were his only clients, and that was a very safe feeling to have when making a decision as big as buying a home! We have since recommended Chris to everyone we talk to about our home, and will always continue to do so!
