1684515408NAPLES, FL USA – Pace Center for Girls, Collier at Immokalee recently held their annual Crazy Pantz fundraiser event benefitting the girls of Pace. Special guest County Commissioner Rick LoCastro was one of the distinguished gentlemen featured in the fundraising festivities.

The event took place Wednesday, May 10 at The Players Club & Spa on Grand Lely Drive. Crazy Pantz is Pace’s signature event that highlights distinguished men of SWFL to model their “crazy pantz” as part of a live auction to raise funds and awareness for Pace Center for Girls. Notable male leaders and business owners created, purchased, and donned the craziest pants they could find in the dancing fashion show. All funds raised benefit the programs and services provide at Pace Center for Girls, Collier at Immokalee.

Pace Center for Girls provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. Pace envisions a future where all girls and young women, regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, are uniquely cared for, supported, and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves through a path of healing and recovery.

LoCastro stated, “PACE is an amazing organization that does so much for our County and our youth. I'm so impressed with their success stories. It was a privilege and an amazing time to participate in the Crazy Pantz event, all in fun and for a great cause.  What may have seemed trivial and silly to some when they saw it advertised turned into an event that raised over $120,000 for the PACE organization. It was great to see so many government, community, and business leaders from Collier County participate in the event. Vicki Tracy (COO at Gulf Coast International Properties), Claudine Leger-Wetzel (Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Stock Development), and the entire PACE staff certainly pulled out all the stops to ensure not only was the event fun, but in the end the huge event created a positive financial impact to PACE and was extremely rewarding to all of us involved.”

The team at GCIP is proud to support local philanthropic programs for at-risk youth and continues to take a leading role in community-based giving.
