A particularly charming detached property by the Oude Rijn with its own mooring.

This beautiful detached villa with thatched roof is on the border with Leiderdorp and Koudekerk by Alphen aan den Rijn, and is one of the few properties along this road with its own water connection to the Old Rhine. You can easily moor your sloop beside your own house, and in a relatively short period of time, you can sail to Leiden, or to the Braassemermeer or the Kagerplassen.

The house literally borders the Green Heart; nevertheless, within just a few minutes, you’ll be on the A4 motorway (The Hague – Amsterdam) or the N11 freeway (Leiden – Utrecht). All the facilities Leiderdorp, Leiden, and Alphen aan den Rijn has to offer are less than 5km away.

The house is located on a large lot of 690m2 (land and water). The parcel is almost like an island (see aerial picture) as it is surrounded by water on 3 sides. There is a stunning back view of the Old Rhine. With a useful little drawbridge, you can cross the water and reach the rear towpath.

The property has been maintained excellently. In 2011/2012, a drastic renovation took place in which, among other things, an entirely new thatched roof was placed on top of the house. The entire house has also been fitted with HR++ double glazing, new window frames, and floor/roof isolation. This year, high quality (via Sikkens) painting has been done to the outside.

You reach the first floor via an open spiral staircase.
