The LaPorte Lodge is a true mountain lodge located in the charming and historical hamlet of LaPorte known for beautiful Little Grass Valley Lake and its summer water amenities. The PCT is just north of the lake and USFS trails are ever reaching. Once well known as the birthplace of downhill ski racing, more recently it has become a highly desired mecca for snowmobiling. With close attention to maintaining the ambiance, the lodge has been fully remodeled, updated, and fully furnished to satisfy today’s tastes.

With 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, use of the whole place will sleep 30! There are 3 completely independent units yet cleverly designed to be accessible to each other if desired. One unit called “Copper Top” boasts a full- service bar, commercial kitchen, and two accommodating bathrooms downstairs as well as French door access to outdoor patio dining. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with outdoor balconies. Each unit has its own fireplace, living area, and kitchen. Next to the lodge are 3 fully self-contained RV spaces. On a highly visible paved road, access is easy and parking area is plenty. Attached is a large garage area for “toy” storage. Lots of diversified opportunities here!

Relatively undiscovered so far, the charming mountain hamlet of LaPorte located in the Plumas National Forest, In wintertime this area has become a true mecca for snowmobiles with miles and miles of groomed trails.
