1. What was the desire for the design when you built this particular house?
It had to be a pure and minimalistic design, a home with the emphasis on spaciousness and light in which the relationship with nature is strongly present and the use of the house had to be flexible (home office or the possibility of two families living together).

2. What is your favorite place in the house?
The sitting room on the northeast with a view of the forest.

3. What could a buyer still improve?
Perhaps the buyer would like a swimming pool with sauna in the garden.

4. What do you think of this environment?
The tranquility, the openness, the outside and walking out of your own home within 5 minutes to the water of Gooimeer. It is unique to be, from a rustic area as this, in the heart of Amsterdam within a half hour drive, to shop, have diner or enjoy the great cultural events.

5. What would be 5 tips for a future owner about the environment?

1. Walk from the house to "Kemphaan estate" with the biological market and Funforest (climbing in trees for kids (and adults!).

2. Make endless cycling trips from home to the Gooimeer water and IJmeer or cycle through the extensive Almeerderhout or Oostvaarderplassen and visit the Nature Observation Center "De Oostvaarder" and enjoy the impressive flora and fauna.

3. Take sailing lessons at the nearby Haddock on the Weerwater and be sure to enjoy some of their great drinks and food.

4. Rent a boat at Marina Muiderzand and take it to historical harbors such as Durgerdam or Amsterdam.

5. Take your car to Amsterdam (25 minutes to Amsterdam Zuid), park along the road at Haarlemmermeer station. Take one of the many bus and/or tram lines to Museumplein and visit a concert at Concertgebouw or visit on of the great Museums as the Van Gogh, Stedelijk or Rijksmuseum.
