My first hand local knowledge of neighborhoods, input about elementary school attendance areas, life-time of community networking, opinion on property values, confidentiality when representing my clients and diplomacy when working with my colleagues has served me well the past 13 years and I continue to love what I choose to do for a living!
I provide my Sellers with an effective, strategic written plan at the start of our listing in order to work together to successfully market and sell their property. Depending on the property, this can includes video (aerial, drone and/or testimonial), professional photography, scheduled digital flyers, mailed postcards and engaging social media blasts alerting Buyers to pricing, open house times and the various nuances of your property.
I provide my buyers with my professional opinions on neighborhood, school districts, quality of the home as well as insider knowledge of the current MLS inventory and highly sought after pocket listings (properties not publicly listed but available for sale). I present Buyers with a strategic written plan of the process – from loan qualification, to the home search, through escrow, inspections, repair negotiations and finish with closing and celebration!
EcoBroker, Green and Advanced Designations
As Santa Barbara’s first EcoBroker and a Green Designated agent, I am part of a nationally accredited designation committed to the environment and my clients. I understand the value of drought tolerant landscaping choices, energy efficiency, environmental technologies, reduced utility bills, and sustainable designs. Growing up on a ranch near Refugio with its own well, wildflower planted sod roofs, rain collectors, wind generator, solar panels and other green practices, has provided me with real life education and contributed greatly to my passion for the environment.
In addition to achieving my Broker’s license, I hold the GRI-Graduate Realtor Institute designation, both of these are advanced real estate designations proving my dedication to my industry and the importance I put on professionalism and continued real estate education.
After I earned dual bachelor degrees (History and Italian) from the University of Colorado, I returned to Santa Barbara and jumped in to real estate as a full-time agent on my own. As a past board member of the Community Environmental Council, current CEC Alumni Partnership member, Chamber of Commerce member, I continues to donate my time to the community.
In addition to my full-time real estate career, I met my husband, Nate while attending CU Boulder. We have two very busy sons; Wyatt, 6 and Crosby, 4 who make us laugh and keep us on our toes! My two “assistants”, have both seen their fair share of properties and are also seasoned negotiators! Life is full of soccer, escrows, school pick-ups, home inspections, play-dates, open-houses, daily morning runs and lots of laughter.

Over the past 14 years, in addition to helping my clients buy and sell properties in my hometown, I have also been cultivating a network of referral agents across the country. I recently had a friend from high-school, who lives in Oregon, ask me if I could help her and her husband sell her house and purchase a new one.
