Bob McCarroll's path to management at LIV Sotheby's International Realty in Evergreen has been paved with a passion and appreciation for the rare and extraordinary - the very attributes that define the Sotheby's brand. From masterpiece art to classical music to distinctive homes, Bob has spent his life - both personal and professional - as a connoisseur of things defined by originality, authenticity or antiquity. Prior to transitioning to a career in real estate in 1991, Bob spent 25 years as a conservator of historic and artistic works on paper for museum collections across Canada and throughout the United States, and he has restored prints, drawings and watercolors by such renowned artists as Durer, Rembrandt, Picasso, Motherwell, and C.M. Russell. Today, as he has for the past 22 years, Bob applies the same level of detail and attention to helping luxury home sellers and discerning home buyers understand and facilitate real estate transactions. "I use the same thoughtfulness and problem-solving skills I developed as a conservator in the museum world for my real estate practice", he says, "A plan is essential to a successful outcome." As a founding member and managing broker for LIV Towne & Country Properties West (which in 2008 became LIV Sotheby's International Realty), Bob is equally committed to ensuring that each of the 22+ brokers in the office he manages are upholding the high professional standards of LIV Sotheby's International Realty and complying with Colorado real estate law. This requires Bob to be well-educated and up-to-date on the rules and regulations of the ever-evolving real estate industry. He is a member of the Mountain Metro Association of REALTORS, Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, and the Denver Chamber of Commerce. Bob specializes in listing and selling residential real estate in the various communities sprawling the foothills west of Denver. This includes Golden, Genesee, Evergreen, Conifer, Pine and parts of Gilpin, Clear Creek and Park counties, as well as, east of downtown Denver in the uptown neighborhoods of Whittier, Curtis Park, Five Points, and City Park West. On a personal level, Bob remains active in Colorado's arts and cultural scene. He is an enthusiastic student of the classical guitar, Art Gallery Coordinator / Alliance Francaise de Denver, Friend / Promusica Colorado Chamber Orchestra, Sustaining Member / Denver Art Museum. He is also a student of the alto recorder and a member of the Denver Chapter of the American Recorder Society. Bob enjoys the abundant fly fishing opportunities Colorado has to offer and the companionship of his rescued English Bull Terrier "Jay".
