Malia took Vail and Beaver Creek luxury real estate by storm, quickly being recognized for her passion, intelligence, and candor. Malia has been rooted in the area for over 40 years, having grown up a mountain town girl in the Vail Valley, she brings a uniquely local experience to her clientele. After elementary through high school in the Vail Valley, Malia headed to the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned a business marketing degree. She went on to the University of Denver College of Law and graduated at the top of her law school class - 6th out of 254 students. Although she retains her law license in Colorado, Malia shifted from active law practice to real estate when she and her husband took over her family property management company in 2004. After several years, Malia and her husband sold the company for her to fully focus on her real estate sales career and for her husband to fully commit to general contracting and real estate development.

We recently hired Malia to list and sell our home in Vail, Colorado. We honestly were not initially planning on listing with her as we have friends and know various Realtors in the area, but we decided meet with her before we made our final decision. We were shocked when she presented her marketing plan and gave us examples of what she would be doing to market and sell our home. The amount of ingenuity and work that she puts into her advanced marketing efforts was obviously exceptional. Her passion is infectious and just hearing about some of the details encouraged us to make a swift decision to list with her. We felt that it was best to keep friendship out of selling one of our largest personal assets and potentially straining a relationship.
Malia did everything she promised and more. It was pretty humorous because we even emailed some of the marketing materials to a good friend of ours (the websites, email brochures, and video) because we knew he doesn’t think much of real estate brokers and we were interested to see his reaction. He replied back something to the effect of “congratulations you found the one great Realtor out there.”
Not only does Malia use high tech methods to market her listings but she also uses the old school approach by having various print ads to promote our home in the local paper and real estate magazines etcetera. She had several ads promoting our home in print at all times.
It is important to note that Malia effectuated all of this on her own arranging access to the neighbor's home for showings even though it was not on the market for sale. She used her great relationship the other homeowner and also explained to them that access to their home would likely result in a higher price for our home which, in turn, would promote stronger values overall in the complex.
The bottom line is where can you find someone that grew up in the area, has a background as an attorney, an incredible ability with marketing and technology, and combines that with a work ethic that drives her to go the proverbial “extra mile” then I don’t know why you would hire anyone else. Malia truly raises the bar. We cannot recommend her enough and have already done so and will continue to do so.
In a word...Sensational! Malia's level of expertise is top drawer. She is a true professional and is supported by a staff equal to her expectations, and most certainly ours. She is a thinking woman who is clearly in touch with the market as well as her clients needs and expectations. Her marketing skills reflect a practiced eye for showing a property in it's very best light.

We are currently working with Malia Nobrega to buy our next home. Malia had come highly recommended to us by a friend who had worked with her in the past. Malia has an extensive and intimate knowledge of the HOAs in the Vail Valley because she has her own property management company. This was particularly helpful because as we reviewed each potential home, Malia already knew how we could potentially change the exterior of the home to better suit our needs. For example; adding fences and tree removal at one home we liked and leveling out a slight slope to create better play space at another. She also has a legal background which was really helpful as she was able to help us put together an offer (on a home we liked) within the unique buying/selling contingencies we are currently facing. We didn't know if Malia would even work with us as potential clients as she typically works with clients buying and selling higher end/luxury homes. We need not have worried; Malia was as responsive to us as any of her other clients buying and selling bigger and more expensive homes. On several occasions we called her after driving by potential homes and liking their curb appeal she was quick to offer us tours of them.... right then and there. "I'll meet you there in 15 minutes" was always her response. We also found that Malia really listened to what it was we were looking for and was quick to find us a number of potential homes that we could really envisage living in for the next 30 years. She has an excellent creative eye and always had excellent suggestions as to how to enhance certain features within homes to 1. better suit our needs and 2. easily add value to the home. We have put our search for a new home on hold for the winter and will revisit this in the spring and will continue to work with Malia at that time. Even after we had told her we had decided to put our search on hold until the spring Malia was happy to show us further homes we liked the look of to help us explore/research/better understand the market. We never felt like we were wasting Malia's time. She definitely encouraged us to 'get a feel for what is out there.
Malia took on a very complicated real estate transaction and was able to pull off a small miracle! Some deals require someone that works at a higher dedicated level which Malia provides. I highly recommend Malia for real estate business requirements. She is intelligent, personable, and has a high level of integrity.
