While real estate is in her blood, her passion for helping others is truly what drives Laura Lucky’s success.
Having earned her Arizona Real Estate License at just 18 years old, Laura knew at a young age that joining her parents, Matt and Lisa Lucky, in the family real estate business was not simply her path of choice, but somewhat of a calling. Realizing that her appreciation of Scottsdale combined with her desire to be of service could lead to a satisfying profession, she set out to create her real estate career. “I’m privileged to work with my parents who have exceptional experience, knowledge, and success in the North Scottsdale community. I like to think I’ve been trained by the best!” Laura says. As the #1 agent from among nearly 1,000 esteemed Russ Lyon agents, and the #2 agent among every agent in The Valley, The Luckys partially attribute their success to their self-imposed “15-minute rule.” Laura explains, “We acknowledged early on that the best way to serve our clients is to only take on business that’s within a 15-minute drive from our office. That way, we’re essentially always ‘on call’ and at the ready for any buyer or seller that we’re working with.”
Shortly after obtaining her real estate license, Laura graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business. Laura’s proficiency in marketing has become a hallmark of The Lucky Team and continues to help drive The Luckys to higher degrees of success. The latest brainchild of Laura’s marketing acumen is The Luckys’ glossy lifestyle and real estate magazine The Lucky Collection – which has quickly become a staple in North Scottsdale households.
In addition to her aptitude in marketing, her training in international business presents her with a distinct vision and provides opportunities to aid real estate clients from all over the globe. In 2013, Laura acquired her Broker License and is now an Associate Broker at Russ Lyon | Sotheby’s International Realty.
Both living and working in North Scottsdale, Laura has close ties to her community and The Valley as a whole. In addition to helping her real estate clients, Laura takes great satisfaction in actively advocating for several Valley organizations. She enjoys her V-Corps volunteer work – sponsored by the Russ Lyon | Sotheby's Volunteer Organization which includes projects such as preparing meals for the underprivileged, refuse clean-up on public Arizona lands and supplying water to our city’s homeless. Her passion for helping animals has cultivated her interest and devotion as a board member for Foothills Animal Shelter. Not only does she work to organize their Pins for Paws as well as other fundraising events, Laura has committed to taking her service to the next level by opening her home to foster homeless animals until they find their forever families.
So what spurs this energetic and dynamic woman in her non-working hours? You may find Laura working through a much-loved yoga class, or boosting her fitness at The Village Health Club – admittedly one of her favorite haunts! And as a self-proclaimed wine devotee, Laura loves sampling and furthering her knowledge of viticulture – particularly the wines developing in the booming Arizona wine country.
Perhaps it’s precisely that joie de vivre that keeps Laura enthusiastic, confident, determined and positive in just about every aspect of her life. One thing about Laura is never in doubt: she is always ready for a challenge!
