Lisa Kornhauser credits her extraordinary success in the challenging field of residential real estate to hard work for each and every client. A recognized Top Producer for John Daugherty, Realtors since she was licensed in 1999 and currently ranked as the company’s number two agent in sales volume, Lisa always keeps her clients’ interests in mind. “I work around the clock,” Lisa says. “This is not a ‘9-to-5’ job. Emails have been known to come from me after midnight.”
A highly personable, easy-going and level-headed demeanor enables Lisa to relate and work well with clients from all cultures and through every walk of life. “Anything is possible with the right attitude. Negotiating the best outcome for my client while maintaining a calm atmosphere and presenting resolutions that all parties regard as positive is one of my primary strengths.”
This affable approach does not deter the determined, tenacious core work ethic that drives Lisa to push on for her clients when other agents might give up. “I never take ‘no’ as an answer. Where there is a will, there is a way, and I will find it. I give 110 percent to everything because I know that will make the decisive difference every time.”
Lisa represents sellers and buyers in Houston’s traditional close-in neighborhoods, focusing predominantly on areas in and around Bellaire, West University, Texas Medical Center neighborhoods, River Oaks, Tanglewood, and the Memorial Villages. She provides her hallmark personal attention and service for each and every client aided by a trusted, hand-picked, professional team of two licensed, long-term assistants: Kevin Johnson and Marcus Selander.
The essential skill set for a top Realtor must include organization, attention to detail, and the firm belief that the customer is always right. Prior to entering residential real estate as a career, Lisa honed these sales and business skills as a highly-successful marketing and sales representative in the southern U.S. for luxury clothing firm St. John’s Knits.
A Houstonian since the age of two, Lisa attended Bellaire High School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband, Matt Kornhauser, a partner in a real estate law firm, have three grown children, two of whom are twins. With a demanding schedule that leaves her little free time, Lisa prioritizes leisure hours with Matt and her children, whom she regards as the greatest influences in her life.
