Chip Gardner, fourth-generation real estate broker, oversaw the day-to-day operations of Gardner Realtors, a company his iconic great-grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Gardner, founded in 1943 for more than a decade. The Gardner Realtors service area included all of Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast; the family business consistently closed more than one billion dollars of property sales each year.
Herbert Dubuisson joined Gardner Realtors in 2013 and accepted an invitation to join the leadership team in 2016 where he was charged with leading the flagship office in Slidell, Louisiana - the only Gardner Realtors office that serviced both the Louisiana and Mississippi markets. In 2019 Herbert was promoted to Regional Manager/Broker where he worked with Chip to oversee operations of St. Tammany Parish and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Together they produced extraordinary results in recruiting, retention, productivity, and profitability.

Gardner Realtors merged via acquisition with Latter & Blum in December 2020. In January 2022 both Chip and Herbert transitioned from their leadership roles back into full-time client service where they began working collectively as the Chip Gardner & Herbert Dubuisson Group with Latter & Blum. Chip and Herbert remain committed to serving clients across the region where their families have been the top-name brands in real estate for a combined 130 years. They bring together the top real estate families in the region and continue the legacies of service excellence. Chip Gardner holds over 20 years of experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry. Chip is a fourth-generation real estate broker, who chose to transition from executive leadership back into full-time client advisory services. He is now using his unique skill set, vast industry experience, and in-depth market knowledge to provide discerning clients with top-notch real estate services across Greater New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Chip’s extensive client consulting experience across the country and world with Duff & Phelps Real Estate Advisory Group - formerly Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting - provided a strong foundation to attain the prestigious MAI membership, which is awarded to those experienced in the valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of properties, and who advise clients on real estate investment decisions. In Chip’s years of consulting experience with investors, developers, private equity firms, pension funds, REITs, Fortune 500 Companies, etc.; he has served as a Real Estate Advisor for billions of dollars of real estate across all property types.
As a New Orleans native, Chip is active in the local community and passionate about giving back. Chip serves as a board member of the New Orleans Mission Properties Foundation, and the Gertrude Gardner Foundation, along with numerous other philanthropic activities. For fun, Chip enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cutting loose with a few libations, busting out stellar dance moves, eating at local dives, and cheering on the Fighting Tigers.

Born into a real estate family, Herbert continues the legacy of unparalleled service and outstanding results that Herb and Patsy Dubuisson began nearly 50 years ago. Having won nearly every production award the real estate industry offers he is most proud of being nationally recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® as a 30 under 30 honoree; being inducted into the Mississippi Gulf Coast Association of REALTORS® Top Producer Club Round Table, as the youngest Lifetime member inductee in the organization's history; and being named a New Orleans CityBusiness Excellence in Real Estate Honoree and Rising Star in Real Estate.
Herbert started his career under Floyd Wickman Training. In 2012 he was introduced to the Ninja path, which he credits for saving his life and career. Since 2012 he has completed eleven Ninja Selling Installations, and two Ninja Leadership Installations and is committed to ongoing Ninja coaching in his pursuit of Mastery.
In June of 2021, Herbert became a Ninja Certified Manager - one of only four people in the world to satisfy the stringent requirements. He is featured on the Ninja Selling website and in videos played in Ninja Selling Installations around the world. Being the product of unmatched professional development, he puts his training and skill to work each day to ensure each client has a convenient and enjoyable experience in the real estate transaction.
Dubuisson excelled in real estate from the start. After thirteen years working with his parents’ company, he joined Gardner Realtors in their Bay St. Louis office. From 2013 until his appointment to leadership in 2016, Herbert maintained the highest level of production of any Gardner Realtor in Mississippi. He has closed more than 1,000 residential and commercial transactions in his career. In January 2022, after eight years of serving in the market and regional leadership roles with Gardner Realtors and Latter & Blum, Herbert transitioned back into full-time client service. Today Herbert works day-to-day with Chip Gardner and they collaborate with Herbert's father, Herb.
Dubuisson holds the following industry designations: GRI, CRS, LCL, LMS, LSS, LSE, LRS, LMG, LSN, ATL, C2EX, RENE and ABR. He earned the Coldwell Banker Previews Certified designation (now Coldwell Banker Global Luxury). Following in the footsteps of his mentors Herb Dubuisson and Glenn Gardner, Herbert earned the prestigious Certified Brokerage Management Designation in 2018. A CRB is the highest level of professional achievement in real estate brokerage management. Herbert attended high school at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, MS then College at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. Having a passion for service to the community, Herbert maintains membership in a multitude of professional and civic organizations. He dedicates time and resources to Hancock County Food Pantry St. Tammany Parish Child Protective Services, and the Gertrude Gardner Foundation. His true passion is bringing hope to the hurting, hungry, addicted, and homeless through his efforts with the New Orleans Mission. He has served as a Chapter President of the Mississippi State University Alumni Association on three different occasions. Herbert and his wife, Bevann split their time between Covington, Louisiana, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Both of his parents, Herb and Patsy, were legends on the coast. They ran an extremely lucrative company and drew top agents, who shared the same core values and work ethic they did. Making money was important to them but never as important as making friends and setting an example of how agents in our trade should conduct themselves on and off the job. The Dubuisson family remains community minded and often recognized for their generosity and good will in promoting the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Herbert literally grew up in the family business.
