Cindy Nelson

Cindy moved to Breckenridge Colorado in 1980 with her husband, Larry, to pursue a career in property management and rental management. Cindy & Larry worked together for 20 years managing investors’ property, including the Homeowner's Association, Short-Term Rental Management, accounting and overseeing the maintenance of each individual homeowner's property.
In 2020, Cindy left property management to pursue a career in real estate. Cindy has been involved in over 400 transactions to date and works as both a seller's agent and buyer's agent to her clients in the primary, secondary, investment and commercial markets. Cindy is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and is certified as a Negotiation Expert (CNE), Residential Specialist (CRS), Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), and Luxury Home Property Specialist (CLHPS).
Living in a beautiful mountain community there is much to do, and Cindy enjoys it all from local school sports and dance, to skiing, biking, hiking and golfing with her friends and family. Cindy is a past president of the Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge, where she spent many years volunteering and fundraising. An Honorary Citizen of the Red White & Blue Fire Department and wife of a volunteer fireman and volunteer herself, Cindy participates annually in various fundraisers for the Fire Department.
Cindy and Larry were both born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and married in 1979. They raised their son, Jay Nelson, and daughter, Sara Nelson Gambino, in Summit County, where both reside with their spouses and children. Cindy is the proud grandmother of Jojo & Talia, and proud grandmother of her grand-dogs Thelma & Louise.
