Kate Burnside

Kate has an extensive and successful Sales career with over 30 years experience in Advertising, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, Banking and Insurance. She obtained her license as a Real Estate Agent in January 2023 and joined Seacoast Properties in April 2023.

Growing up in Northeast Pennsylvania, Kate discovered Martha’s Vineyard in 1988 by vacationing with family and visiting friends and the rest is history. She has two sons in their 20’s, Nicholas, who lives and works on Martha’s Vineyard and Matthew, who is currently attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. The family shares a passion for the outdoors, adventures, sports, and travel.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Lynchburg where Kate was a 4-year varsity member of both the Equestrian Team and the Champion Divisional and National Field Hockey Team. Kate has always been active in giving back and supporting her local communities. She is a Member of the MV Horse Council, Volunteer at Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge and Volunteer with Misty Meadows Therapeutic Riding programs.

Kate enjoys spending time with horses, growing her vegetable garden, early beach swims, downhill skiing, and hiking or biking the extensive trails on the island. She has experience with buying, building and flipping homes, and caretaking/managing properties.

She possesses a passion for the uniqueness of each home’s architecture, design and style which enables Kate to find homes and properties that distinctly match her clients’ wish list. Kate offers her clients a skillset of being detail oriented, multi-tasking, negotiation, planning and unmatched research. She will eagerly assist you in attaining your Real Estate goals and wishes so they become a reality!
