After more than 31 years as a Lake Tahoe area real estate agent, Jamie’s passion for her job, combined with an intimate knowledge of the local market and welcoming attitude makes her one of the region’s top producers year after year. More recently, Jamie has partnered with her son, Kirk Baines to continue this legacy in the Lake Tahoe region.
From touring homes with buyers to conducting negotiations and marketing properties for sellers, Jamie truly enjoys every aspect of her job. Most of all, she loves the opportunity it provides to interact with so many unique people. Each of her buyers and sellers enjoys focused one-on-one interaction. Jamie personally handles all facets of each and every transaction, carefully guiding her clients through the real estate process, from start to finish. The result is successful sales, trusting relationships, and lasting friendships with her clients.
Her personalized service and attention to detail has earned Jamie recognition as a sought-after Lake Tahoe real estate agent, often transacting luxury properties in Tahoe and the Carson Valley. She has been involved in some of the largest lakefront property sales on Tahoe’s east shore.
Aside from real estate, Jamie has always had an affinity for health and fitness. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Florida and managed a state-of-the-art fitness training and testing center in Stateline, Nevada before starting her real estate career.
For the last 40-plus years, Jamie has thoroughly enjoyed the “Tahoe lifestyle”: skiing, hiking, biking, boating, and working out every chance she gets. She raised her two children in Lake Tahoe, alongside her husband, Rich Baines, a contractor who builds luxury resorts across the U.S. and the Bahamas. Always up for a new adventure, Jamie is currently an avid mountain biker and recently took up pickleball and paddle boarding to explore the Lake from a new perspective.
