Born in 1963, I moved from Seattle to Sun Valley Idaho in 1978 at the age of 14. Today you can live and conduct your business from almost anywhere! Why not Sun Valley?? “Growing up in Sun Valley was amazing, I love the Wood River Valley”! As a community we have so much to offer – arts and entertainment, social functions, gilds, cultural opportunities, more. I will happily share my Idaho experiences, valley history, and folklore, with you. This is an incredible, special place! I am a “value-oriented Realtor” with Sun Valley Sotheby's International Realty with a diverse background in Real Estate, business, and investing since 2000. Background - I attended The Community School (Aka Sam’s School) and graduated from Wood River High School in 1982. Higher Education includes University of Oregon, Stanford, graduating from The University of Washington Business School. While attending UW, I founded the Entrepreneur Society 1986 indoctrinating “43+ members”; leading to amazing endeavors, including patents, and businesses in Seattle, and Idaho. I started Mountain Phone Company servicing ID, OR, WA, NV, MT, competing/partnering with US West, AT&T, and other communications corporations. Other businesses include Rivals.com, Clear Sky Broadband (acquired by Vonage). My holding company operates apartments & Real Estate in Boise, Twin Falls, and the Wood River Valley. In 1994 I married the love of my life, Melissa McCollum. We have 3 boys, Cutter, 21 is currently at University of Virginia - Biomedical Engineering; Frederick 19 attends CRAS (a sound engineering institute in Mesa, AZ); Pierce, 17 attends Wood River HS, active in debate club, studies and trades FOREX.
