John vividly remembers the first time he experienced Pebble Beach's 17-Mile Drive, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, and the eclectic neighboring communities. Shortly thereafter, the Monterey Peninsula became home. Throughout his career as a professional caddie at Pebble Beach Resorts, John partnered with numerous business leaders, celebrities, and professional athletes in over 1,000 rounds of golf along the central coast.
One of John's greatest passions is sharing time and resources with his community. He is a proud supporter of Youth on Course, a non-profit organization providing life-changing opportunities through golf. Since 2017, John has partnered with this organization to donate 100 rounds of golf for every completed transaction. In 2019, he was awarded "Man of the Year" for his victory in a 10-week philanthropic competition benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Monterey Bay chapter. John raised over $104,000 and was honored with two personalized research portfolios. Fittingly, these were dedicated to his two sources of inspiration; his grandmother who passed away from B-Cell Lymphoma and his friend who is battling Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. John continues to be involved by serving on the local chapter's Man & Woman of the Year Leadership Team.
