In 2017, Sarah Martzolf, Hayley Bumpas and Kristen Nelson combined forces to create The Martzolf Group. Sarah’s passion is helping buyers and sellers maximize their property value and experience through strategic planning and design. Be it a seller getting a home ready for sale, or, a buyer understanding how to make a space work for their lifestyle, Sarah has a deep understanding how to enhance its livability and value. Sarah's expertise with staging and making improvements allows her to best position her client's for sale. In addition, her vast experience and communication skills allow her to be a strong ally for her clients.
Kristen began her real estate career working in commercial real estate development, this diverse background has given Kristen a unique perspective of the local market, across neighborhoods and property types. Kristen knows and loves all areas of New Orleans, and has enjoyed focusing much of her experience in the French Quarter, Old Metairie, and Uptown New Orleans, where she is a long-time resident. A consummate professional, Kristen takes the time to build strong, lasting relationships with her clients, and has grown her business through her large network of clients and contacts across the city.
Hayley started her real estate business in 2011 after a successful career practicing law. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2004 and practiced in the areas of Domestic and Community Property Law before clerking in the Civil District Court for Orleans Parish. Hayley’s background in contract law and her passion for real estate are utilized daily at McEnery Residential to ensure success for our team and clients.
Molly, a native Atlantan moved to New Orleans in 2014. Molly graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BS in Consumer Science and has worked in design, marketing, and retail industry over the past 10 years. Molly has passion for interior design, architecture and landscape but also understands her clients’ needs for practicality and functionality as a mother of little ones.

The whole team at the Martzolf Group was amazing. Sarah was patient and flexible in showing us a myriad of houses. She really worked to understand our (my) preferences in a house. When we finally settled on one to make an offer on, she and Hayley were absolutely brilliant as we worked through this unknown process as new home buyers. They supported us every step of the way with valuable insights and information. When an 11th-hour hiccup occurred, they didn't even blink and went about finding a solution to the problem. What can be a fraught and difficult process was made easier by knowing I was in the right hands and could trust the people I was working with.
This has been our 2nd time working with the Martzolf group. The first was 4-5 years ago with a purchase of a residential house; we worked with Sarah on that transaction. Our second was recently with the purchase of another residential house and the sale of the original house; we worked primarily with Hayley but Sarah was also involved. Because our first experience was so positive, there was no question about returning to this group to manage our 2nd purchase/sale. We are not local to NOLA; managing real estate transactions remotely is challenging. These ladies helped us through the process and made it relatively stress free. They are extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Their attention to detail, recommendations, responsiveness to inquiries, and follow through were exemplary. The closing for all properties went forward without any glitches. If we were to be involved in future real estate ventures in the New Orleans area, we would not consider using any other real estate organization. The Martzolf Group is as good as it gets.
