Ryan Mears

Ryan was born and raised in Park City and developed a passion for skiing, biking, hiking and golfing. He graduated from Park City High School in 2004 and decided to stay close to home, attending the University of Utah. During his time at the University of Utah he majored in Parks Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Sports Management. During his senior year he interned with the University of Utah Athletic Department and helped the marketing department run Football games, Women’s Volleyball games, Women’s Soccer games, Men’s Basketball games and Women’s Gymnastics meets including NCAA regional.

Ryan moved back to Park City, his hometown, after college and went to work for the Park City Mountain Resort Race Department for 2 years. He continued his role in organized sports while working for the Race Department including working at the Freestyle World Championships. He took those organizational skills to the Utah Olympic Park. During that time he managed the front desk and gave tours of the Utah Olympic Park, gaining valuable experience in guest services. His work also included running the race office for World Cup Bobsled, Skeleton and Luge events numerous times and met and developed friendships with people from all over the world.

Ryan believes the skills he has developed will be beneficial to his clients as a Realtor. His real estate career started as assistant to his mom, Kathy Mears and he has learned valuable information about Park City real estate . Ryan and Kathy have now have become a team. Kathy has over 30 years of Real Estate experience in Park City and Deer Valley and was the Park City Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year” in 2009. Ryan has the unique advantage of being a partner to a very experienced and respected agent and is excited to serve all his clients in a professional manner. He knows and loves the Park City area and is enthusiastic to share his local knowledge and insights.
