Merrilee brings a familial understanding to Northern Utah’s real estate market. From land developers and building contractors on her mother’s side to sheep and cattle ranchers who grazed animals in the meadows and grasslands on her father’s, Merrilee’s roots are made up of original Utah pioneers. A deep appreciation for the land coupled with her keen attention to market conditions offers unique advantages for her clients, whether it’s getting just the right value when selling a home, or assisting new home buyers through the real estate process.
After college, Merrilee moved to San Francisco, developing an appreciation for Victorian homes, haute cuisine, and the unique city life there. She later returned to Utah to start a family, since there was no question that her children should grow up close to her roots. After a successful career in the luxury lifestyle and business publications industry, Merrilee transitioned into real estate. Although Merrilee’s real estate career was born out of the turbulent economic times of the late 2000’s, her previous work in advertising sales and marketing gave her the fortitude and resolve necessary to not only meet the market challenges head-on but to also exceed in sales. She attributes her continued success to a persevering commitment, a passion for advocating for her clients, and good business sense.

She is a Certified Negotiation Expert, and will negotiate contracts on her clients’ behalf that lead to a successful experience buying or selling. When not involved in the day-to-day work of closings, inspections, and researching the latest market trends, Merrilee finds time to entertain and cook for friends. She loves to be outside gardening, hiking or biking, surrounded by the expansive blue skies and majestic mountains. She also finds time to travel and practice her French. Merrilee lives with her husband Kevin and their dog Ginger in the Avenues area of Salt Lake.
