Description

Katy hails from London, England, via Honolulu. During her working career in London, Katy held the role of Marketing Executive for P&O Cruises, where she ran The P.O.S.H. Club, the loyalty program for 26,000 cruise passengers. She saw much of the world in her position in travel that spanned twelve years and made passenger care and attention to detail her forte which she has effectively woven in to her relationship-based business in real estate. (Write to Katy to learn more about the nautical legend of the acronym, P.O.S.H.).

Upon her move to Maui in 1997, Katy enjoyed close to a 10-year career with Four Seasons Maui. Formerly a member of Les Clefs d'Or as a Lobby Concierge, and latterly a Club Concierge, Katy reached the top of her profession in the service industry. A Four Seasons guest once commented of her, “if you have the privilege of having Katy assist in your Maui experience, you will be spoiled forever.”

She joined the world of real estate with a wealth of experience in personal service and island knowledge in 2007 as an agent with Maui's original Windermere team in Wailea. In 2009, with the closing of the former Windermere office, Katy joined The Wailea Group and after ten years as a dedicated professional and seasoned agent has effectively "come home" to Wailea Realty Corp. A Boutique of Windermere Real Estate.

Katy invites you to experience her expertise as a Broker with a reputation of deliberate and focused client care. Katy offers innate organizational skills as an expert administrator with her noteworthy timeliness in all communications. She lives in daily commitment to her personal business maxim, "At your service, with Aloha!" strategically partnering with a team of hand-picked experts in her sphere to personally ensure your real estate goals are accomplished.

She attests, “Having travelled, I honestly believe that Maui is the doorstep to heaven and we who have the opportunity to live here or own a piece of property which allows us to call Maui home, are truly blessed.” She adds, “To quote Voltaire, ‘Paradise is where I am!’ and I am eager to share the blessing of this place with you as your south Maui based real estate professional. I am dedicated to service and it comes with Aloha."

  • "Katy Foxwell helped my find and purchase a high-end condominium at Makena Surf on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She was very patient with me as I looked for a condo, not knowing if I was actually going to purchase one. Once we found the one to purchase she went out of her way to make sure everything was in order. She helped me navigate through a difficult negotiation and a much more difficult close on the purchase. She always represented my best interests. She was absolutely responsible for a successful close, even when it looked like it might not happen. She stayed involved through property transfer and move-in. She helped identify contractors for needed work on the condo. Through this purchase process Katy showed real estate knowledge, responsiveness, tenacity, graciousness, helpfulness, loyalty, commitment and always a friendly smile! I would use Katy Foxwell again in a heartbeat. I now consider her a personal friend." - D. McVicker, Cannon Beach, Oregon

  • "This is a review that just had to be written, about a realtor named Katy Foxwell, who is affiliated with The Wailea Group of Maui. Recent personal circumstances required a prompt re-location to Maui from our home on the Big Island. We knew where we wished to buy, but the time constraint and our lack of full familiarity with the area required that our agent be both knowledgeable and trustworthy. Fortunately, we were directed to Katy Foxwell. Rather than elaborate on individual details, allow me to simply state that in over 45 years of purchasing real estate for both individual and investment purposes, I have never before received such professional treatment. Katy's listening skills, coupled with her intuitive reading of client preferences, allowed her to narrow down the available properties and, thus, save all of us a significant amount of time and energy. Additionally, because of her outstanding reputation within the community, all ancillary support businesses and personnel (e.g. loan, escrow, inspections, etc) rallied to work with her to ensure a smooth and prompt closing (would you believe, just under 3 weeks!). And, we are even more delighted to report that Katy has gone above and beyond by guiding us to numerous services, medical personnel, community resources, etc., post-closing What more could any new transplant ask for? Katy is the only local realtor I would recommend to family and close friends, and if you are considering purchasing property on Maui, I would urge you to give her a call and arrange to meet with her." - Mark Schuster, Maui Resident as of August 2018

  • "In over seven years of working with Katy, she has represented me in selling one property, and purchasing two other homes on Maui. Her professional and friendly qualities are unmatched within the real estate community here on island. I know numerous other realtors as friends and associates, but would never consider using anyone other than Katy as my real estate professional. She's, simply, the best!" - Robert DeVinck, Wailea, Maui (9/18)
