Born and raised in the Heber Valley, one of Utah’s friendliest places to live, Kirsten Pitts feels fortunate as a realtor to be helping others to discover more about her hometown and its endless benefits for families and outdoor adventurers. Working at Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, Kirsten enjoys showing people around the area’s growing real estate opportunities, from new developments near the awe-inspiring Wasatch Range mountain terrain to the valley’s farms and historic homes.
Prior to real estate, Kirsten enjoyed a fulfilling career in the health industry, devoting 30 years to being an administrator in the medical field, the first fifteen spent in Dallas, Texas right after college. A desire to get back to her roots and raise her daughter in a place that still offers the nostalgic hometown appeal she is familiar with, Kirsten moved back to Heber Valley to settle down permanently. Her natural abilities of making people feel at ease and being of service, in addition to her extensive knowledge of Heber Valley’s neighborhoods and culture, led Kirsten to change careers and become a full-time real estate agent.
Kirsten loves introducing newcomers to the picturesque valley nestled between the world-renowned resorts of Sundance and Deer Valley near the Wasatch Front. With an historic railroad and Swiss-themed town, incredible vistas, and over 500 trails for a variety of summer and winter activities, Heber Valley is often called Utah’s playground. Assisting her clients in finding just the right place to raise a family, retire, or purchase a second home in an affordable location gives Kirsten great satisfaction. The oldest of eight children, Kirsten also brings a great deal of compassionate understanding and patience for families’ needs. Her sellers appreciate her extensive local network to draw from, as well as Sotheby’s reputation and excellent marketing resources.
In addition to enjoying all the friends she makes in her work as a realtor, Kirsten spends time with her daughter, Kennedy, supporting her endeavors by traveling to her many dancing competitions and watching her performances as a member of the aggiettes and spirit squad at Utah State University. Kirsten is also an avid sports fan, never missing a local football game, and is re-energized by regularly attending her favorite local Zumba and Spin class.
