Faith, family and friends first. These words have been Cathy’s motto for as far back as she can remember. They have served to motivate, inspire, and make her work hard and smart for you. She enjoys helping her clients in a professional manner to help them with all of their real estate needs and wants. Cathy cares!
Cathy has always enjoyed a broad range of interests and passions and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in printmaking and painting. After that, she continued her studies in the University’s MBA program with a focus on management and arbitration and met her soulmate, Marc. They soon married and moved to Texas.
In Dallas, Cathy gained more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales in the corporate sector in her roles as VP of Marketing for Heritage Auction Galleries and as Director of Sales, Marketing and Promotion for Olmsted-Kirk Paper Company (OK-Paper). Cathy oversaw all aspects of in-house marketing, public relations and sales. It was during this time that she honed her skills in problem-solving, networking, arbitrating, relationship building, and public speaking - all valuable assets for her future career as a real estate agent.
With the encouragement of her father and mentor, Cathy left the corporate world in 2013 to try her hand at real estate, where she felt she could combine her passion for helping others with her marketing savvy and people skills.
Over the years of doing what she loves, Cathy has been recognized for her commitment to service, not only by her clients, but also by leaders in the corporate world and fellow real estate professionals. Staying true to her motto, Cathy’s clients are her friends and she puts their needs and concerns first, guiding them in every step of the real estate process.
“I’m proud to have Cathy join our talented team,” says Betsy Cameron, manager of the Lakewood office. “Cathy is smart, a very hard worker and is always taking advantage of our resources and training to help her be the best real estate agent for her clients. Her loyalty and passion to help others makes her an outstanding and seasoned marketing sales associate.”
Cathy is married to the love of her life, Marc, and is the mother of two amazing now adult children. They are very proud of their son, who completed his PhD at OHSU in biochemistry and accepted a position at the Knight Research Lab where he focuses on genetic studies, inherited diseases. and personalized medicine. Their amazing daughter graduated from Ole Miss and moved back to the Big-D to work for a large, well-known corporation in marketing and PR. She and mom (Cathy) are both very social and involved in several community activities.
Cathy and her family attend Highland Park United Methodist Church. While juggling work, family and friends, Cathy still finds time to volunteer at many foundations that are close to her heart.
