Dawn translates her passion for Martha’s Vineyard and extensive professional career to providing outstanding representation for her clients. In almost two decades on the Vineyard she has held a series of broad-reaching senior management roles ranging from digital media to real estate and is recognized as an active member in the community.
As a licensed agent, Realtor® and member of the Cape Cod and Islands MLS, Dawn has established her reputation as a thorough, detail oriented agent with a client centric approach, dedicated to provide the best possible experience during one of life’s most important transactions. The result of working successfully with hundreds of island businesses and organizations is a vast network of relationships, local knowledge, and creative negotiating skills that directly benefit her Buyer and Seller clients in achieving their real estate objectives.
Dawn was born and raised on Boston’s North Shore where she developed her love for the coastal lifestyle and time with friends and family at the beach. She moved to the Vineyard full time after meeting her husband, Island Artist Anthony Holand, known worldwide for his custom copper weathervanes. Together they bought a property in Vineyard Haven and renovated it into their home and his studio gallery, Tuck & Holand Metal Sculptors, honored by the Governor as one of the “1,000 Great Places of Massachusetts”.
Her real estate experience continued professionally at Martha’s Vineyard Online – MVOL.com, developing digital marketing for island real estate agencies and pioneering real estate portals for the Martha’s Vineyard and Fairfield County Connecticut luxury markets. That success led to a lead role at Vineyard House, managing the construction project of their new sober living campus, including two residences, administration office, and community meeting space. The campus setting revitalized the organization and instilled in Dawn a deep appreciation for the impact a real estate professional can have in transforming the lives of their clients.
Dawn currently serves on the Tisbury Planning Board along with her ongoing support of the Wellesley College Alumnae, MV Community Services, Vineyard House, and the MV Film Festival.
