As a multi-lingual native of Austria and former corporate lawyer Astrid McManus brings a unique international business perspective to Golden Bear Realty. Since moving to Charleston in 2000 this experience has provided her with an extraordinary background for her real estate career.

Astrid has learned to love the Lowcountry lifestyle especially the pace of life, the rich history, the cuisine and the eclectic mix of people she encounters in her work.

Known for her attention to detail, organization and work ethic Astrid is a conscientious and enthusiastic real estate agent who specializes in the resort communities of Kiawah and Seabrook Island as well as the historic district of Charleston.

During her free time, Astrid enjoys golf, reading and playing bridge. She is also an avid traveler.

Michael bio:
With an educational and early career background in architecture and more than 25 years of service to buyers and sellers in the resort communities of Kiawah and Seabrook Island, Michael McManus brings a unique combination of knowledge and experience to Golden Bear Realty.

Michael is also the Managing Member of Weather Mark Development LLC, which designs and builds extraordinary new homes on Kiawah Island. Known for his creativity, insight, and analytical skills Michael is a thorough professional who is dedicated to serving the needs of his clients. This attitude, complemented with constant optimism and tireless perseverance has resulted in over $400 million in closed real estate transactions during his career.

Michael is an avid golfer and amateur chef who also enjoys the arts and travel.
