Leigh Flanagan grew up in Missouri, watching her father invest in and develop commercial and residential real estate, including numerous residential subdivisions. After helping her father with many transactions, Leigh turned her passion into her full time profession by joining the LIV Sotheby's International Realty offices in Cherry Creek (Denver) and Edwards (Vail Valley)!
Leigh received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2003. After graduating law school, she joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a trial attorney from 2003 to 2006. Leigh went on to clerk for several U.S. Bankruptcy Court judges before entering private practice where she represented financially troubled entities and individuals in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. Her private practice focused on restructuring secured and unsecured debt in real estate cases, for individual and corporate real estate investors, owners, and developers.
Her own passion for real estate led her to obtain her Colorado real estate broker license in 2007. Throughout her career as an attorney, Leigh maintained her broker license and listed and sold real estate in Denver and the Vail Valley. In addition to being a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, she is a member of the Vail Board of Realtors.
When not working, Leigh enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children in the Solterra neighborhood of Lakewood, across the Denver metro area, or in the Vail Valley. She is an avid skier and enjoys yoga, running, and cycling. Leigh is also dedicated to her church family at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church where she serves as a Deacon.
Leigh is committed to helping you achieve your real estate goals! Whether you're looking to buy or sell, you'll certainly benefit from Leigh's knowledge of the Denver and Vail Valley markets, strong negotiating skills, investment expertise, and her client-centered approach.
