Kim earned her real estate license after she graduated from the University of Texas in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in marketing, and has been a practicing licensed broker ever since. But, her knowledge of real estate was established well before then. I was brought up in real estate My mother founded and ran a successful residential real estate company in Houston. After graduation, Kim exercised her flair for creativity and her passion for homes as an independent general contractor and home decorator, while at the same time, modeled for the Kim Dawson Agency for several years. Then, in 1992, she founded The McAuliffe Group. Even when my work was focused on my marketing company, I never abandoned real estate, says Ms. McAuliffe, who has bought and remodeled scores of showcase and executive homes throughout her 25-year professional career. And my creative skills have been particularly beneficial in helping clients see the potential beauty of a home. Kim's diverse background has resulted in a vast network of loyal clients and contacts who trust her with their home buying and selling needs.
