Record-Setting April for Two Michael Saunders & Co. Agents

SARASOTA, Fla. – (April 30, 2008) – For Kim and Michael Ogilvie, two perennially top-producing associates for Michael Saunders & Company, April began on a high note and ended with a bang.  The pair, who conduct business from the company’s Main Street office, closed on four major residential transactions during the month—totaling $18.75 million.  Coincidentally, each of the waterfront properties involved is located on Siesta Key.Michael and Kim Ogilvie, Michael Saunders & Co. Associates who enjoyed a record-breaking month in April 2008.Appropriately enough, the two largest transactions took place on the first and last days of the month.  On April 1st, the Ogilvies brought the buyers to the largest transaction of the year (up to then) on Siesta Key.  The bay front estate at 8585 Midnight Pass—listed by Gail Wittig and Ian Addy, of the Longboat Key office of Michael Saunders & Company—sold for $5.15 million.On April 30th, the Ogilvies saw their listing at 4067 Shell Road—a 9,406 square-foot Gulf front mansion—set something of a milestone for Sarasota County.  The sale price of $8 million was the largest single residential sale in Sarasota County since March 24, 2006, a day on which an estate on Westway Drive in Lido Shores, also represented by the Ogilvies, sold for $13 million.In between these mega sales, the Ogilvies sold their listing at 241 Cedar Park Circle on Siesta Key to buyers represented by Linda Roe Dickinson, from the St. Armands office of Michael Saunders & Company.  The 6,584 square-foot bay front home on Cocoanut Bayou sold for $3 million on April 21, 2008.Then on April 28th, the Ogilvies saw their listing at 4401 Midnight Pass sell for $2.6 million.  The 4,638 square-foot home is also situated on Cocoanut Bayou.Year after year, Kim & Michael Ogilvie are the top producers in the Main Street office of Michael Saunders & Company and rank among the top three sales teams company-wide.  With nearly 40 years of combined experience, they have won every company award for top production, including the coveted Legacy Circle Award, an annual honor created solely to recognize their unprecedented level of production.  As well, they are consistently ranked at the very top of all agents in the Sarasota Association of Realtors.
