NEW YORK, NY - Luciano Pavarotti's apartment at The Hampshire House, 150 Central Park South, was quietly sold last week by Avalon Partners, a boutique luxury real estate brokerage firm. The expansive two-bedroom home had direct, unobstructed and sweeping north, west and east views of Central Park from the 23rd floor. The apartment was purchased by the first buyer to view it just shy of the asking price of $9.25 million.
The Hampshire House was The Maestro's NYC home for decades. The building is beloved for its quiet elegance, understated security, old world charm and progressive directorship. Situated across the street from the world's greatest park, the iconic structure is featured in countless films and daily on Good Morning America.
This sale marked Avalon's third sale in the last six months over $8 million on Central Park South.
