SEATTLE, WA USA – Some of the finest luxury real estate brokers in the world convened in Beverly Hills last week for the 14th Annual Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat. Members of the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate network gathered to share knowledge, network, and celebrate business accomplishments.
The conference kicked off with a Board of Regents meeting and lunch, where Regents from across the globe welcomed new additions Anita Head and Dierk Herbermann of Paragon Realty Group in San Francisco, California and Michael Dreyfus of Dreyfus Sotheby’s International Realty in Palo Alto, California. Featured Speaker Chad Williams (former U.S. Navy SEAL) engaged the group on vision, intention and means. "The effective leader will succeed when his vision comes to fruition, not by uncommon natural born ability but by being a common man that embraces an uncommon desire to succeed." Chad’s presentation was followed by roundtable discussions.
Come Tuesday morning, the conference room was packed for Featured Speaker Barry Maher’s presentation titled Filling the Glass. "I'm a lot less concerned with whether someone sees the glass as half empty or half full then I am with what they're doing to fill the thing up,” said Barry, as he spoke on real world tactics for increasing productivity and job satisfaction.
John Brian Losh, Chairman and Publisher of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, presented Matterport, Inc.’s Virtual Reality Glasses, which was a hit for all attendees. Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Audrey Ross of EWM Realty International received a standing ovation for her hard work and strength in the Miami luxury real estate market, before Marco Tirelli of Tirelli & Partners and John Stough of Kentucky Select Properties took attendees through The Anatomy of an International Sale.
Wednesday began with a fascinating look into how innovation and technology is reshaping the real estate marketplace, courtesy of the dynamic Featured Speaker Michael Tchong. Tchong outlined how the digital lifestyle is rewriting the rules of innovation, “As technology becomes more tightly woven with the fabric of life, you need to appeal to dominant values ruling this world: connectivity, convergence, and convenience.”
The Spring Retreat was chock full of captivating Breakout Sessions, from Blogging and Social Media to Luxury Homebuyers in a Secondary Market, and much more.
Wednesday concluded with a property tour of four impressive listings in Los Angeles – listed for $32 million, $7.35 million, $48 million and $18 million, respectively. Hosted by Board of Regents member Rodeo Realty, the property tour showcased fabulous listings in Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. The Spring Retreat concluded with a Dinner and Awards Presentation honoring Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Audrey Ross.
