DENVER, CO – Peter Niederman, Chief Executive Officer of Kentwood Real Estate, has been named a finalist as one of Denver’s Top Newsmakers for 2015 by the Denver Business Journal (DBJ). Niederman was featured in the DBJ’s Power Book published on September 25, 2015.
The Power Book includes an exclusive look at business men and women in 14 industry categories who were prominent in the news over the last year and those who deserve recognition for recent business accomplishments. The selections in each category were determined entirely by the editors and reporters of the Denver Business Journal.
In Niederman’s profile in the Residential Real Estate category, the DBJ editors mentioned Kentwood Real Estate’s expertise in the luxury home market and how the growth in this segment over the past year has allowed Kentwood to capitalize on the activity (Kentwood Real Estate also serves home buyers and sellers in all price points throughout the metro Denver area). The article also mentioned that Kentwood Real Estate is moving its Cherry Creek office to a new facility in Cherry Creek North.
“We think you’ll agree that this year’s selections mirror the ever-changing business landscape of metro Denver that we bring to DBJ readers each week in our newspaper, every business day on the web and at our events,” stated Neil Westergaard, Editor in Chief of the DBJ in the lead article of the Power Book. “They are the stories of people and companies that are thriving and positioned strategically for future growth.”
“I am pleased to be a finalist for the top newsmaker for 2015 in the residential real estate category,” said Niederman. “We have flourished over the past 35 years for numerous reasons, including our ability to attract the most experienced, dedicated professionals in the industry. We have built a reputation as a national leader in the use of advanced technology, total annual sales volume, the relocation segment of the business, and giving back to the community through our involvement with and contributions to numerous charitable organizations.”
Earlier this year, Niederman was recognized as one of the 200 most powerful people in residential real estate by the Swanepoel Power 200 Annual List of the industry’s most influential leaders. The Power 200 list is regarded as the most comprehensive list of influential CEO’s, thought leaders, and senior executives ever assembled in the residential real estate brokerage business.
