31st Legislator of the Virgin Islands Thanks April Newland for Participation in Inaugural 2015 Investment Forum

1441915304ST THOMAS, VIRGIN ISLANDS - April Newland of Newland Real Estate participated in the Inaugural 2015 Investment Forum held at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef on July 31st. Janette Millin Young, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development, Agriculture and Planning, extended heartfelt gratitude to Newland on behalf of the 31st Legislator of the Virgin Islands for her engagement in the forum, as well her participation and enthusiasm regarding real estate investments in the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The primary goal of the investment forum was to make a clarion statement that the U.S. Virgin Islands is open for business, and that they have a market in which businesses want to invest. 

The panel offered fresh ideas, realistic and significant opportunities for established businesses and those contemplating locating to the Virgin Islands. The networking events were designed to foster partnerships and introduce prospective investors to their culture, cuisine and established local business and civic leaders. Information garnered will encourage companies to take advantage of economic development benefits, technological resources, and skilled workforce. The feedback from the investment forum was extremely positive.
