(RALEIGH, N.C.) – July 30, 2007 – Chris Newton, a REALTOR® with York Simpson Underwood Realty’s Cameron Village office, recently earned the e-PRO certification, and is now certified as an Internet professional. As more and more consumers turn to the Internet to buy or sell homes, the e-PRO course trains real estate professionals to use the latest Web tools. The certification is held by less than 1 percent of real estate professionals nationally.e-PRO is the official technology certification program of the National Association of REALTORS®. Conducted by San Diego-based technology company Internet Crusade®, the e-PRO program instructs participants in the professional use of e-mail, the development of an interactive Web site, and the use of online research and marketing tools.
