Denise Piper Joins Handsome Properties as Managing Director


1411076492CHARLESTON, SC - Denise Piper, a 15-year industry veteran, joined Handsome Properties in August 2014 as Managing Director. A New York native, Denise moved to Charleston in the mid-90s and quickly found a love for the beauties of Charleston and the Lowcountry. She then began her career in real estate sales and management, a path that has taken her to some of the city’s top real estate and management firms. In her role at Handsome Properties, she will oversee the operations of the firm and provide guidance to the team, sharing her wealth of experience and best practices gained over an impressive career. Denise’s diplomacy and organization enhance her skills as Managing Director.

1411076546Denise comes to Handsome Properties knowing the intricacies and nuances of the luxury and historic sector of the real estate marketplace having worked with several prestigious real estate firms on the peninsula and working along side Debbie Fisher, Owner of Handsome Properties, at one of these firms. After years in the real estate industry, new opportunities took Denise to a hospitality management firm. During her time there, the company grew into one of the top management firms in the country, encompassing over 30 properties. Denise worked closely with the President & COO, from whom she gained a wealth of operations and management experience.

Denise is excited to bring her diverse experience to Handsome Properties, and to collaborate with such an accomplished team. Denise is a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Denise shares, “My favorite thing about Charleston: I love the pristine architecture and the close proximity to the beaches…I could walk through the streets of downtown Charleston or walk on the sands of the beach for hours. The eclectic cuisine is amazing and who doesn’t love to shop on King Street.
