1397505550GREENWICH, CT - David Ogilvy & Associates, Inc. recently sold Connecticut's Copper Beech Farm for a record price of $120,000,000 - the second largest sale recorded in United States history. The 50-acre estate was enjoyed by the noted Lauder Greenway family from their purchase of it in 1904. The estate’s hallmarks include almost a mile of shorefront, amazing views, extraordinary walled gardens, unbelievable privacy, a 75-foot pool with spa, a grass tennis court, superb greenhouse, stone carriage house and a cottage in a convenient and quiet location.

The 1800 foot driveway with beautiful cobblestone gutters winds through woods and lawns to the entrance. Two remarkable stone towers bracket the front door and the upstairs balcony. The grand paneled entrance room and stairway rises three stories with a fireplace, and goes front to back to the wonderful glass-enclosed porch with open panoramas of Long Island Sound. The main rooms have 12-foot ceilings, including the living room with a beautifully carved fireplace and French doors that lead to the huge solarium.
