RUMSON, NJ - RESOURCES Real Estate in Rumson was wearing the green and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in style while marching in the town’s parade Sunday, March 9th. With agents, clients and lots of kids, the Resources contingent was an immediate hit due to the popularity of their parade giveaway: a mask featuring the company’s lion mascot wearing a large shamrock in its crown.
“The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is already a big event in Rumson, despite it being just the second year it has been presented, and we wanted to be part of it and have some fun,” said Carolynn Diakon, Broker-Senior Partner. “The masks we handed out -- over a thousand of them -- were a favorite of parade spectators, adults and children alike.”
The second annual parade featured bagpipe bands, floats, high school marching bands, Irish Step Dancers, antique and classic cars, veteran groups, local organizations and novelty acts, along with local businesses like Resources.
“We were very excited to participate this year,” said Thomas McCormack, Broker-Managing Partner. “The Irish community is extensive in this area and we look forward to the event’s ongoing growth. It’s important to us to be active in our community.”
