NEW ORLEANS, LA - Julia Reed, speaker at the 10th Annual Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat in New Orleans, was this year’s honorary Muse at the 2014 Krewe of Muses Mardi Gras Parade. Julia, a contributing editor to Newsweek and writer for Vogue, was featured on the cover of Times Picayune in the ‘Illuminated Muses Shoe’ float. “She is such a celebrity here and seemed to be really enjoying her reign. The Who’s Who members have constantly come up to me and shared how they loved her as a speaker,” says Eleanor Farnsworth of Gardner Realtors.
Julia discussed her book, “The House on First Street: My New Orleans Story”, at the 10th Annual Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat which was about the remodel of her New Orleans home and her experiences regarding Hurricane Katrina.
