Denver, CO – Kentwood City Properties, one of three locally owned offices that comprise Kentwood Real Estate, has shattered its 2011 sales record with more than $527 million in closed real estate sales volume for 2012. The figure is an astounding $200 million more than the previous high of $327 million that Kentwood City Properties posted for 2011. The exact 2012 sales volume for Kentwood City Properties is $527,373,550.
Kentwood City Properties also became Denver’s leader in total market share for homes within the city boundary, outdistancing the nearest competitor, a real estate franchise operating from multiple offices, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service. Kentwood City Properties operates from a single office with a total of 52 broker associates, and also serves home buyers and sellers outside the City of Denver.
“Our sales volume and market share for 2012 were extremely impressive and these totals are a testament to the professionalism, work ethic, and dedication of our real estate professionals,” said Jim Theye, Managing Broker and co-owner of Kentwood City Properties. “Since our inception, our goal has always been to establish our office as number one in Denver while providing unparalleled service to our home buying and selling clients. We have now achieved this goal and can now focus on establishing even loftier goals and standards of excellence in 2013 and for years to come. Several keys to our success have been our great location right across from Union Station that has helped to attract many of the area’s top brokers and many new clients, and the fact that we have added a full-time commercial broker which helps set us apart from the competition.”
Kentwood City Properties had six brokers who closed more than $20 million each in total volume last year, with a total of 22 broker associates who closed more than $10 million each in 2012, an impressive accomplishment by nearly any measure.
Kentwood Real Estate closed a total of $1,718,516,376 in sales volume last year encompassing a total of 3,272 real estate transactions, a company record for Kentwood Real Estate which celebrates its 32nd anniversary in 2013.
