Rumson – Colleen Duffney, sales professional with Resources Real Estate in Rumson, NJ, recently closed on the multi-million dollar sale of a 26+ acre farm property in Monmouth County’s ‘horse country.’ The sale is one of the largest parcels to sell this year according to the Monmouth County Association of Realtors.
“It was a challenging transaction because farm properties – especially in the current lending climate – often present unique obstacles,” said Duffney who represented the buyer. The identity of the buyer, seller and closing price were not disclosed.
“Despite the unique character of the transaction it was closed in a relatively brief period of time,” said Duffney. “The entire escrow period – from contract acceptance till closing – was only 40 days. These days that’s faster than most single-family home sales.”
Duffney is a resident of Rumson and has been a sales associate with the company since 2005. She joined Resources Real Estate in 2005 specifically because of its reputation for excellence. As a Sale Associate she has applied her energy and enthusiasm toward helping Sellers and Buyers meet their objectives. Duffney strives to successfully provide her clients with the most reliable, attentive, professional service possible.
Colleen Duffney is originally from Westfield, NJ, and graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. When Colleen moved back to New Jersey, she settled in Monmouth County where she has raised her family and has been extremely active in community service organizations.
