Established in 1989, the Worldwide ERC® Service Recognition Awards Program is open to the entire Worldwide ERC® membership and offers three levels of service awards — Meritorious Service, Distinguished Service, and Hall of Leaders. Service awards are conferred based on a merit system through which members earn points for such participation as serving as a moderator, panelist, or speaker at any ERC meeting program; for each editorial contribution to Mobility magazine or any other Worldwide ERC® publication; for active membership on a committee or task force; or for service as a committee chairman. The program formally recognizes that Worldwide ERC®'s success is a direct result of the dedication of members and the devotion of their time and expertise for the betterment of the industry.
