Ellen Purdy, Property Manager for Harbor Bay Realty’s Property Management Department, was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Alameda-Contra Costa Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Purdy is serving her third term as Treasurer for the Association and prior to that served as Secretary.
Founded in 1991, the Alameda-Contra Costa Chapter of NARPM is an association of professional residential property managers serving the Bay Area. The Association promotes a high standard of business ethics, professionalism, and fair housing practices. Its members specialize in the management of single family homes, condominiums and apartment complexes.
Additionally, Purdy was elected to the Board of Directors of the California State Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (CALNARPM). She is serving as Education Chair. “The State Convention scheduled in March will combine with the Hawaii and Nevada chapters and promises to be the best yet,” said Purdy. “Valuable workshops, informative panel presentations, and hands-on activities designed to impart practical and comprehensive industry knowledge will make us more effective professionals.”
“Serving on the NARPM Boards is a privilege. In an industry that is constantly changing, it is imperative to keep abreast of current laws and trends,” remarked Purdy. “My affiliation with NARPM has enhanced my industry knowledge through its excellent guest speaker program, and has provided a professional forum to review trends and challenges.”
“I commend Ellen for continuing her service on the National Association of Residential Property Managers boards,” stated Harbor Bay Realty President Dennis Pagones. “Her expertise in the industry and professionalism are valuable assets to the Association and Harbor Bay Realty.”
The Harbor Bay Realty Property Management Department has specialized in full service property management for over 20 years. Its dedicated staff prides itself on delivering prompt and reliable service to owners and tenants. “We are here to help owners achieve the best possible return on their real estate investments.
