Participation in Leadership NVAR, which includes four multiple-day workshops throughout the year, is open to Realtors® living in the state of Nevada. Participants are chosen through the Leadership NVAR Selection Committee based on community and real estate involvement in addition to vision for the real estate profession. According to Solomonson, 12 realtors were selected from a broad pool of applicants.
“I consider it quite an honor to be chosen,” said Solomonson, adding that she is motivated to better herself for the benefit of buyers, sellers and investors alike.
The comprehensive program is designed to identify emerging leaders and assist them in sharpening their leadership skills through a series of workshops. Fresh from the first of four intense workshops, Solomonson said she is already excited by what she learned and impressed with the results.
“The program is providing me with tools to be the best in my professional and personal life and to be an effective leader,” she said.
Solomonson said the first workshop kicked off in Scottsdale, Arizona where the group focused on Servant Leadership.
“We took an exam in which we explored how we think and research our decisions and we explored our counterparts’ viewpoints as well,” she said.
In team building exercises, the group also colloborate in non-profit community organization programs.
Solomonson said she looks forward to the upcoming three workshops, which will be held in various California and Nevada locations.
“Sandi’s energetic leadership is exactly what is needed to move real estate through these changing times,” noted Kerry Donovan, a Chase International Incline Village broker. “Sandi’s commitment to learning and volunteering is an asset not only to the public but her fellow realtors.”
