Dorsey Alston Congratulates Rudy Harrell, No. 1 Agent in Atlanta

Posted by Ashley S. Feibish — March 15, 2009

ATLANTA For the ninth consecutive year, Dorsey Alston associate Rudy Harrell was recognized as the No. 1 agent in Atlanta. Rudy’s monumental achievements as a record-setter in the luxury home market have earned him the reputation as the best agent in Atlanta.

Active in residential real estate for the past 35 years, Rudy received the Gold Phoenix Award for 30 years of membership in the Atlanta Board of Realtors® Million Dollar Club in 2007. He is a past vice president at the Atlanta Board of Realtors®.

“Rudy has certainly set himself apart from the rest of the field and it’s easy to see why others look up to him”, said Beth Stedman, vice president of operations at Dorsey Alston. “He is very knowledgeable about the market. He’s fair and often times brutally honest. But he also has the ability to make you like him even when he’s telling you something you don’t necessarily want to hear. You can’t teach someone skills like that.”

Rudy joined Dorsey Alston in 1988 and specializes in properties inside the Perimeter and Buckhead. He has assisted generations of Atlanta families in finding the perfect home. His expansive knowledge of the Atlanta market and strong work ethic has made him a favorite among his clients, while colleagues often look to him for his expertise and advice. Rudy’s day starts early in the morning, responding to inquiries on his listings or by taking clients out, yet he always finds the time for a fellow Dorsey Alston associate. Rudy makes every effort to be totally reliable, to follow up on every detail, and set no limits to what he will do for his clients.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Rudy and his wife, Becca, also a top producer at Dorsey Alston, live in Buckhead. They have a son and a daughter.
