CHICAGO, IL USA - Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s Lincoln Park Clybourn office, in conjunction with the Kindness Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm, celebrated Community Kindness by participating in a Habitat for Humanity build. During Community Kindness, REALTORS® and staff from the firm’s 22 offices select organizations to support with volunteer time and services in their respective communities.
Darlene Little, Vice President and Managing Broker of the Clybourn office, said, “Our office really enjoys the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity on build sites, having done it many times now. The team of 16 volunteers spent the day framed two homes, installed flashing and cut and installed wood frame pieces. Of course, housing-related activities are such a natural fit for us. I’m so proud of our group and the work they accomplished and would love to give a special thank you to our Foundation Ambassadors Michelle Schroeder and David Zwarycz for coordinating the activity!”
