Darren found his passion in the real estate industry shortly after relocating here from Philadelphia in 2001. Prior to joining John Daugherty, Realtors, Darren co-owned and managed a real estate company where he played an active role in business development and strategic marketing planning. In addition to managing the day-to-day business activities of the company, he sold residential real estate as well as multi-million dollar commercial properties. He understands how important buying or selling a home or investment property is for his clients.
Before beginning his real estate career, Darren spent 12 years in the information technology industry as a manager and in sales. As an IT manager for a regional eye laser center, headquartered just outside the Philadelphia area, he was responsible for developing information technology strategies and he successfully analyzed business needs and provided cost effective solutions. Earlier in his IT career, he served as a sales manager for a technology solution based company in Tucson, Arizona where he rejuvenated sales performance of a stagnant territory and mentored new and existing territory reps on customer relationship management, solutions-selling strategies and advanced product knowledge. In addition to his career Darren served 9 years in the United States Air Force and is currently serving in the Texas Air National Guard with the 147th Fighter Wing at Ellington Field.
