OAK PARK, IL USA – The Oak Park and River Forest offices of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago are pleased to announce that they will sponsor a free community shred event and food donation drive on September 17, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church located at 7551 Quick in River Forest, Illinois. The Shred Spot will securely shred sensitive documents on site. Food donations collected at the event will benefit the Forest Park Food Pantry.
John Lawrence, Managing Broker of the Oak Park and River Forest offices, said, “We hope the community will mark their calendars and plan to attend this free shred event on September 17th. With identity theft such an ongoing problem, it’s so important to make sure sensitive documents are disposed of properly. And, if attendees could please bring a non-perishable food item or two to help the Forest Park Food Pantry as well, that would be wonderful. I’d like to thank Renee Craig and Evelyn Humphries, the Oak Park and River Forest office Kindness Foundation Ambassadors, for their assistance coordinating this event.”
