Brooks has been a licensed real estate sales agent for nearly 20 years. She was initially licensed in Illinois, followed by a return to Colorado where she helped drive sales in a family-owned real estate business. She moved back to Florida in 2019, ending up on the Treasure Coast with Dale Sorensen Real Estate’s (DSRE) Sebastian office.
A native of Florida, Brooks was born in Rockledge and grew up on Merritt Island. She attended The University of Illinois in Champaign where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.
With a love for marketing and sales, Brooks spent many years acquiring skills that serve her and her customers well in the real estate arena. With a head for analyzing market trends and market research, Brooks is adept at determining market value as well as promoting her customers’ properties. She is extremely comfortable utilizing social media and networking events, as well as DSRE’s marketing and advertising tools. This gives her broad market reach in locating the perfect home for her buyers and the right buyer for her sellers.
Experienced in writing contracts and sales proposals, Brooks confidently prepares documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements and closing statements. She is skilled at showing homes, hosting open houses, scheduling inspections and arranging closings.
Brooks specializes in residential, acreage, land and rentals with a special interest in equine properties. Returning to her home state, Brooks is anxious to share her love of Florida with new residents looking for their dream home. She continues to maintain relationships with sales agents and firms in Champaign County, Illinois and Ouray/Montrose/San Juan Counties, Colorado and could be of assistance to anyone interested in those markets.
